Common symbol - A question on common sense on practices

We all know that PRP is facing a big problem in getting a common symbol for their canditates in Election. I still dont understand why the rule of "allotment of common symbol" is in place and what is its significance.

Rules are meant for orderly impelementation of a practice. Rules are the guidelines for any governing body for taking control over the system. Rules are the real elements, which will ensure that social justice is implemented equally for all.

This rule.. Allotment of Common symbol, is a big setback. I dont understand what is the threat to Election commission if it allocates a symbol for newly formed party. Election Commission should clearly state what are the consequences if a newly emerged party is given a common symbol.

The basic point of giving a common symbol is a sign of indicating that all the members of a party belong to same group, and they are a group of people with same agenda and same idealogy.

With PRP being rejected to give a common symbol, it is the "right to express", which is in question now.

EC or any government cannot takeaway these kind of basic rights from anybody.

It should be observed that common sense right is given to all government bodies to overcome such kind of exceptions, and hope EC will come up with a decision which will make sense to all.

Cheers
