Analysis - General Elections - 2009 Andhra Pradesh

I predicted some member of parliament seats to be won by PRP.

I have gone by counting number of assembly constituencies that PRP has got impact and canditate's caliber and local information gathered from friends and papers and news.

Following is my list of MP seats which PRP should win :

1. Anakapalle
2. Kakinada
3. Amalapuram
4. Narasapuram
5. Eluru
6. Machilipatnam
7. Tirupathi

After polling is done, I have clearly observed the voting percent has increased in above constituencies... Hence good news here

Following are tentative places where PRP has got brighter chances

1. Araku
2. Rajahmundry
3. Nandhyal
4. Vishakapatnam

So 11 constituencies which are very positive and unless any strange thing happens, PRP should not loose these...

Places where PRP crossing the finish line marginally is :

1. Guntur (got equal swing in all constituencies compared against other parties.. but cross voting is bad)
2. Nijamabad (Entirely dependent on P Vinay Kumar and Pawan Kalyan factor how far it worked)
3. Khammam (The communists may loose with the alliance not glued properly. PRP has NOT fielded a strong canditate here)
4. Rajampet (Even this is in Rayalaseema, should get D K Adikesavulu factor work along with Chiru charishma)

Tough fights :

1. Narasaraopet
2. Nellore
3. Ongole
4. Chittor
5. Bapatla
6. Nagarkurnool (moved this above, since voting was increased by 6 - 7%)
7. Nalgonda
8. Malkajgiri

Back stabbing and promise-breaking are the unique qualities of our beloved politician Mr. Nara Chandra Babu..

I dont surprise if a new word gets coined in next 5 years...

yeah, this word can be used for adding more depth to the act called back stabbing, use and throw, and breaking of promises.

The recent promise, that got broken on this day is 100 MLA seats for Backward Classes in AP.

You still want to know how many tickets actually he ended up with ???

50... Thats just 50% of his promise.

I will come up with even more back stabbing acts.. in my next blogs...

PRP List : Injustice to Puchalapalli Mitra

I being an admirer of Chiranjeevi, became a 'natural supporter' of PRP.

I felt proud of supporting PRP because of innovative ideology and the buzz word change being demonstrated on each aspect.

I admired this gentleman Dr.Mithra, who is a surgeon and had provided his services all over the globe.

He came from a family which has its impression in AP politics and social service, yes Sri Puchchalapalli Sundarayya garu.

In early days of PRP, Mitra ji along with Parakala Prabhakar have provided the interface between Party and the Public.


I dont know what happened since February, Mitra garu started maintaining distance from party.

The last point in this direction, Iam afraid is ... Mitra has expressed his opinion of dropping himself out from Nellore constituency !!!

Sad news... for me !!!

Mitra garu... good luck for your next plans...

*Actual gaaa Allu is all set for Machilipatnam constituency... but I think its the 'WEIGHT' of the bags which counted at the end of the day !!! A big shot has got seat in Machilipatnam, who is not at all in cards !!!

PRP List : Injustice to Vasireddy Padma

It is clearly evident that there is no sort of democracy demonstrated in listing of PRP canditates.

It is one and only name which is making rounds unanymously.... Allu Aravind.

I'm personally shocked with Vasireddy Padma garu denied a ticket in PRP.

She demonstrated her leadership skills by standing with party on all occassions. Even she tried to defend the party from crappy statements made by some of leaders in some occassions.

Now she is dumped away by the Party... :-(

Padma garu... my pity to you !!!
